Victoria Club Relay Championship 2010

Wednesday, 1 September 2010

The 2010 Victorian Club Relay Championship has been run and the winners are Melbourne Forest Racers (MFR). Although not the most numerous club on the day, MFR’s 1st in course A, 1st & 3rd in course B, 4th in course C, and 1st in Course E was enough for them to win. The power clubs BK (2nd) and BG (BG) were close behind. Other notable mentions; The Rebels (Victorian Junior Squad) 1st in course C, NE 1st in course D, and ARDF 1st in course F.

Thanks go to Parks Victoria for allowing us to use Woodlands Historic Park, Warwick Williams for controlling and my fellow club members for assisting on the day. For TK it was one of our largest events (186 competitors) we have run on our own for a while. The SI system worked well with only human induced errors.

Ian Collins has posted an excellent series of photos on his news article "Club Relay Quick Snaps".
