Jackson wins GOLD for Australia

Adrian Jackson with his gold medal

Adrian Jackson built on his good form in the sprint event yesterday to take out the win in the Middle Distance event at the World Mountain Bike Orienteering championships today.

 Adrian was 8th last starter and after being a minute up at the radio control lost a little bit of time in the last few controls.  He had a nervous wait until all had come in but none of his challengers managed to better his time at the finish.
