Term 1 – February and March 2010

Inter School Park-Street Orienteering Challenge

Open to both Primary and Secondary students: Can take part individually, as a pair or in small groups.School groups need to register, individuals can turn up on the night and report to the 'Schools Table.'

These challenges are dovetailed into the existing Summer series events, which are twilight events starting at 7pm and are open to the general community.
Western Suburbs- Tuesdays Feb 9th, Feb 16th, Feb 23th, Mar 2rd,Mar 9th, Mar 16th.Contact  Ken Moore 9337 5417

Courses available A (10km), B (8km), C (6km), D (4km) and in the East -E (3km) 

Term 2 - Friday 21st May 2010

The SILVA Victorian Secondary Schools Orienteering Championships - (VSSOC)To be held at The Tye Estate, Romsey.Age classes: 13, 14 ,15, 16 and open Course. Students compete as individuals.
Within each course there were classes for inexperienced and experienced competitors:

  • A ( for the more experienced navigator)
  • B ( for the inexperienced navigator)

 

Term 3 - Friday 13th August 2010

Victorian Schools Mountain Bike Orienteering ChampionshipsLocation - Lysterfield Lake Park
A 2 hour score event : age categories 16 years and Over 15 years and Under Both Solo and pairs classes.Primary School students will compete for 100 minutes (1 hour 40 minutes) .

Please be sure to return Registration and entry by 3pm July 29th  2010 NB: no faxed or handwritten lists will accepted, unless for one/two name(s) only.

Term 4 - Victorian Primary School Championships 2010 ( VPSOC)

Entry forms will be available first week of September 2010
