Approximately 300 people have entered to enjoy Victoria’s famous Golden Triangle this summer with a smorgasbord of some of Australia’s best orienteering …
Day 1 27th December
Sailors Creek, Daylesford
Complex spur-gully country with moderate mining detail. Courses are being set on the southern end of the map. First start - 4PM. Course setter Greg Tamblyn. 
Day 2 28th December
Mount Tarrengower, Maldon
A change of pace. The courses for this map are being set in the granite country on the western side of the map. The historic gold town of Maldon is nearby. First start - 8AM. Course setter John Wilkinson. 
MTBO Wombat Station
A winding network of tracks through native forest. You need to concentrate here! World Championship map. Mass start – 5PM. Course setter Tim Hatley.
Day 3 29th December
Creswick Diggings
The gold mining classic! This map has large areas of the best and most challenging mining detail. This Australian Championships map is as good as ever. First start - 8AM. Course setter Barry Hart. 
MTBO Creswick Pines
Pine forest and native forest with a dense network of tracks. Mass start – 5PM. Course setter Blake Gordon.
Day 4 30th December
St George’s Lake, Creswick
A great blend of terrain in a single map, detailed mining and fast open spur/gully, native forests and pine plantations. Cool off after your run in scenic St George’s Lake. First start - 8 AM. Course setter Rex Niven.
Day 5 31st December
Ballarat University
Fleet feet and quick thinking will be required in the built environment of the University campus, mixed in with the surrounding grounds and bushland. First start - 8AM. Course setter Roch Prendergast.

MTBO Courses
Both MTBO events will be 75 minute score events.
Entries
Entries will be accepted until 30 November. Late entries may be accepted at the organisers' discretion.

There are diverse accommodation options in Ballarat (see http://www.ballarat.com/) and Daylesford (try http://www.visitdaylesford.com.au/Forms/Default.aspx), and a certain amount of accommodation available in Creswick(http://www.visitcreswick.com.au/Forms/Default.aspx).
Total Fire Ban
Note that in the event of a Total Fire Ban being called on one of days 1 to 4, the foot-O event for that day will be run at Ballarat University, and the foot-O event scheduled for the Total Fire Ban day will be run on day 5.
